By humbly taking on human flesh, laying aside the use of his divine powers, suffering and
dying to save us, our Lord Jesus gave us both the motivation and the pattern for humble Christian living.
Just as Jesus’ humiliation ended in exaltation, so we, his humble servants, will be exalted with him in
due time.
