Mark 6:7-13
When Jesus called the Twelve to follow him, it was not just to be his disciples, but also to receive training to be his apostles. They were to represent him when he had finished his saving work and had returned to his Father in heaven. As we see him giving them “on the job training,” remember that we, too, are to represent him, and that the power for this comes from him.
